Learn More about Jasmine Pope
Jasmine (she/her/hers) started on Wednesday, as our Communications Manager. Jas' (short for Jasmine) Christmas time will be one of learning and adjustment to BPFNA! Her favorite bible verse is Psalm 23:3, "He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." This verse/Psalm has been the foundation of her upbringing. She shared that it keeps her grounded and reminds her that Jesus Christ is the ultimate companion for her journey. She is passionate about helping and serving with a deep willingness to go beyond to do this. Jas has volunteered with her church and advocacy groups to help raise awareness for many nonprofits.
Did you know that Jas studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain in 2015? This was her favorite experience thus far! A time of intercultural exchange and growth by meeting other people. Jasmine and her husband Francis like Reese's candies so much, they named their dog Reese!
In this position, Jas hopes to learn and grow as a peacemaker and collaborate amplifying the voice of BPFNA. She looks forward to applying her skills, enhancing her Spanish language and intercultural skills to make a lasting impact in bringing peace and justice to our communities.
